I wish to inform you, that the original 16 lines of this song came to me while I was attending a Bruce Cockburn (the Canadian who wrote "Wondering Where The Lions ARE") concert, in Bloomington, Indiana's Historic Indiana Theatre - where Hoagy Carmichael was the 'house band' leader in the late twenties (...and I myself was back stage water-boy volunteer for Randy Carmichael's tribute to his dad, in the very last concert there before the buiding was gutted and restored and modernized, too.), May 6, 2000. I had to borrow a pencil to write what I was "receiving" down on the "flyleaves" of a book I have on "The ART Of ZEN Leadership". It has since been lengthened with refrain repeats and a coda.
