Kalispell To Missoula, Montana
Monday, August 28, 2006, was a busy travel day, occupied with leaving Kalispell, and travelling on westward from Missoula. The bus ride down the 120 odd miles was without incident, through towns like St. Ignatius, Ronan, and Polson...hiway construction was the one slightly negative factor...with the entire roadbed dug up in spots in order to modernize drainage...views of the lake we drove around were stunning...it appears if a forest fire up on the slopes of a portion of the Mission mountains is being allowed to run its course of burning itself out...I passed time by reading Lawrence Ferlinghetti's Far Rockaway Of The Heart.
